A driver left the scene of an accident involving two cars which ended up on a grass verge on the A21.

Police were called at 3pm to a collision between a grey Ford Mondeo and a Subaru on Pembury Road in Tunbridge Wells.

A force spokesperson said the driver of the Mondeo is reported to have left the scene and inquiries are ongoing.

Ambulance crews took occupants of the Subaru to hospital to deal with their injuries.
