Groombridge Place will continue to be run as a tourist attraction, despite the death of its owner.

Groombridge Place has issued a statement saying that his family and heirs would continue operating the site as a tourist attraction "as Justin would have wanted".

This summer's attractions include a performance of the Wizard of Oz musical in the new outdoor theatre at Crusoe World on the estate.

The Crusoe’s World adventure area includes the exact set which was used in the filming of the popular TV series Crusoe which was produced by Mr Bodle in 2009.

As a TV producer his credits also included the Emmy Award-winning Henry VIII with Ray Winstone, Archangel with Daniel Craig, and a string of TV movies.

The statement said the entrepreneur would be much missed by family, friends and colleagues.

Groombridge Place is a 17th century moated manor house in extensive grounds.
