Lamberhurst: There's been a multi-vehicle accident on the A21

The A21 has reopened after a multi-vehicle accident at Lamberhurst, near Tunbridge Wells.

The crash blocked the road in both directions near the junction with Church Lane for around an hour.

There were delays in both directions between Scotney Castle Roundabout and B2079 Lady Oak Lane.

A spokesman for Kent Police, said: "Kent Police was called at 10.15am on 15 May, 2017 following a collision on the A21 between Lamberhurst and Flimwell.

"The road is blocked in both directions and police and ambulance crews are at the scene. There are not believed to be any serious injuries."

The road had reopened by 1pm.
