A suspect is in custody after a man was reportedly stabbed in the shoulder in Southborough.

Police and paramedics were called to a home in Fernhurst Crescent at 2.30pm following reports of a "disturbance".

A man was taken to hospital with an injury to his shoulder, thought to have been caused by a knife.

The injury is not believed to be life threatening.

A second man was arrested on suspicion of assault and taken into police custody.

Both men are known to each other.
