A man has appeared in court after a robbery at a Tunbridge Wells store.
Officers were called to the premises on Longfield Road on December 29, following a report that two men had stolen a quantity of clothing.
It is alleged that one of the men threatened a member of staff as he left the premises.
Kalvin Tiernan of Rowan Tree Road, Tunbridge Wells, was arrested the next day and charged with robbery.
The 23-year-old was bailed by Medway Magistrates’ Court to next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on January 28.
A 25-year-old man from Paddock Wood was also arrested on the same day in connection with the incident, and was later bailed to return to the police station on January 23.
