CCTV appeal after man punched in face during racist attack in McDonald's in the Fountains Retail Park, Tunbridge Wells

A man was punched in the face and knocked unconscious after a racist assault at a fast food restaurant in Tunbridge Wells.

CCTV images of two men have been issued by officers following the unprovoked incident, which happened at McDonald's in the Fountains Retail Park, off Dowding Way.

The assault is alleged to have taken place between 11pm and 11.30pm, on Friday.

It is reported the victim was initially approached by a man who began making racially abusive comments towards him.

A second man is then said to have then entered the restaurant and punched the victim in the face, knocking him unconscious.

The victim, aged in his 30s, required hospital treatment for facial injuries.

Police have spoken to a number of witnesses and are continuing to examine potential CCTV evidence.

They have now issued images of two men they would like to speak to.
