Chiron Hutchinson, accused of Tunbridge Wells rape, faces further charges

An aspiring model and actor accused of raping a woman in woodland in Tunbridge Wells is now facing more charges.

Chiron Hutchinson will stand trial at Maidstone Crown Court on August 7 on 19 charges involving five alleged victims.

The 19-year-old, of Mount Pleasant, Uckfield, East Sussex, denies nine offences of rape, two of attempted rape and eight of sexual assault between November 1 2015 and October 8 last year.

Hutchinson, who attended St Bede’s School near Hailsham, East Sussex, was originally accused of one charge of raping a woman at a spot close to Rusthall Road on October 8.

His trial, expected to last up to four weeks, is due to start on August 7. A pre-trial review will be held on June 23.

Hutchinson, whose Facebook profile stated he works as a trader on the London Stock Exchange, appeared by TV link Elmley Prison today. He was remanded in custody.
