The compact five-door hatchback has a retail list price of £7,199 and has a 1.0 litre petrol engine that gives it up to 65.7mpg.

However, it could be won by the member of the public for a bargain price as it will go to the highest bidder on the night and you don’t even have to attend to put in a bid.

Pickering is accepting sealed bids until noon Friday, November 14 that will be opened as the vehicle goes under the hammer.

The charity’s co-founder Polly Taylor said: “We are so grateful for the ongoing support from everyone at Lifestyle who over the years have helped keep our doors open so that we can turn tears into smiles.”

Pickering is a charity run entirely by volunteers with money raised going directly to help those whose lives have been touched by cancer.
