A26 Eridge Road near Tunbridge Wells closed following crash

A main road has reopened after both directions were closed following a two-car collision.

Traffic on the A26 Eridge Road, near Tunbridge Wells, was at a standstill after the incident, which occurred at around 8.15am.

Emergency services remained on the scene for several hours as vehicle recovery took place.

It closed at the Kent/Sussex border near Warren Farm Lane and Broadmead.

The incident is now completely cleared.
