Police appeal after teenager pushed in attempted robbery by group in Tunbridge Wells

An appeal has been launched after a teenager was pushed against a shop window in an attempted robbery.

The 13-year-old boy was walking along Grosvenor Road in Tunbridge Wells when they were approached by a group of 10 people.

The victim was repeatedly pushed by another boy who later searched through his bag.

Another suspect was also said to have pushed the victim against a shop window.

The group then left when a member of the public came over to help the teenager.

The incident happened at about 2pm on Sunday, February 18.

One of the suspects is described as a 14-year-old boy, who was wearing a black hooded top and jeans at the time.

Police are now appealing for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident to call 01622 604100, quoting reference 46/31474/24
