A teenage girl was rushed to hospital after being knocked over by another pupil at Bethany School in Goudhurst.

The year 10 pupil suffered a minor head injury in the accident.

The girl was cared for by the school nurse until paramedics arrived. The air ambulance also landed in nearby playing fields.

The student was taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital at Pembury by land ambulance and discharged the same evening.

The incident happened at about 4pm on Wednesday.
