Crews are at the scene of a 'fully developed' house fire in the Weald.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service has been called to a property on London Lane, Sissinghurst where they report being 'faced with a fully developed house fire' on arrival.

The homeowners are safe and being cared for by the fire service's volunteer response team.

No injuries were sustained as a result of the fire and crews are expected to be on the scene for some time.

It is not yet known how the fire started or how much damage has been caused.
