Fire in Pattenden Lane, Marden

Firefighters have tackled a blaze at building in Marden.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to Pattenden Lane at around 6.20am this morning after reports of smoke billowing from a roof.

Crews in three fire engines arrived where they extinguished a fire on the ground floor.

Fortunately, no-one was injured and the incident was over at around 7.40am.
