A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash between a car and a van.

The two vehicles collided at around 12.45pm on Tuesday on the A229 near Cranbrook.

Police, fire crews and paramedics are all at the scene after the smash, which resulted in a man being taken to a London hospital with injuries.

A road closure is also in place.
