Police charge two men from Gravesend after series of burglaries in Cranbrook, Groombridge and Horsham

Kent Police have charged two men following a series of break-ins in Cranbrook and Groombridge, near Tunbridge Wells.

Arunas Simkus, 44, and Marius Simkus, 25, both of Thistle Road, Gravesend have been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, between October 6 and November 10 this year.

They have also been charged with a burglary in Horsham some time on November 4 or 5.

The arrests come after a joint investigation by Kent and Sussex police forces.

The men face a separate charge of theft from a motor vehicle, in Groombridge. They appeared at Chatham Magistrates' Court on Wednesday and were remanded into custody.
