Chief Inspector Mark Hedges said: "We are asking residents in Pluckley and Headcorn to check their gardens and outbuildings for any sign of Christopher and his dog.

"He had his black and white Spaniel dog called Molly with him.

"Prior to being reported missing, he was driving a silver Vauxhall Corsa, which has since been located, but we are keen to hear from anyone who might remember seeing him in the car on August 9.
