Firefighters free woman trapped in crash in Hartley Road, Cranbrook

A woman trapped in her car after a crash was freed by firefighters.

Fire crews were called to Hartley Road in Cranbrook just before 7.45pm last night following a crash involving two vans and a car.

Three of those involved were unhurt, but firefighters had to use specialist cutting equipment to remove the roof of one of the vehicles to get to the woman, who had become trapped by her injuries.

She was placed into the care of paramedics, and fire crews left about an hour later.
