Man taken to hospital after 'group attack' outside Whitstable Southern Co-op in Cromwell Road

A 34-year-old man sustained a head injury after he was allegedly assaulted by three young people in Whitstable.

The man was reportedly attacked outside Southern Co-op in Cromwell Road at about 4.40pm yesterday.

He was then taken to hospital.

Police are currently carrying out enquiries, but no arrests have been made.
