A man was left trapped between a garden wall and a minibus after a crash near Whitstable this morning.

Emergency crews were called to Barn Close, Yorkletts, shortly after 9am.

Firefighters used a winch and rescue equipment to remove the bus and free the man.

He was passed into the care of paramedics and airlifted to hospital.

The severity of his injuries is not yet known.
