Teenagers in one part of Kent are now invited to book their first Covid jab.
Over 18s can contact Whitstable Medical Practice from today to get their appointment pencilled in.
The practice is ahead of the curve as NHS England announced today it hopes to be able to invite everyone aged 18 and above for their first jab by the end of the week.
Its chief executive says they aim to have around two thirds of adults fully vaccinated by July 19.
From today those over the age of 23 can now book their jab - but in Whitstable that has been extended to anyone over 18 already.
It is hoped the four-week delay for easing restrictions will mean about two-thirds of adults will have been offered two doses of vaccine by July 19.
The government is also planning to have offered first doses to all adults by that date.
Whitstable Medical Practice says more than 28,000 patients have received their first does, while almost 23,000 have now completed the vaccination course.
