County lines is where illegal drugs are transported from one area to another, often across police and local authority boundaries.

The ‘county line’ is the mobile phone line used to take the orders of drugs.

Aston Quatre-Smith, 32, of Cranleigh Gardens, Whitstable, and Ben Wilders, 23, of Halcot Avenue, Bexleyheath, have both since been charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.

Both men appeared before Folkestone Magistrates' Court on March 24, when they were remanded in custody to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on April 25.

A 31-year-old man from south-east London has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
