Four people from Canterbury arrested after Bramling burglary

Four people have been arrested following a burglary in which intruders reportedly attempted to steal fertiliser.

Police were called to a property in Bramling, near Littlebourne, just before 7.30pm yesterday evening.

They found an abandoned vehicle at the scene and, following a search of the area, detained four people in a field near Canterbury Road in Wingham.

Three men aged 19, 21 and 23 from Canterbury remain in custody after they were arrested on suspicion of theft.

A 15-year-old boy from the city has been released pending further enquiries.
