CCTV released as police step up Hersden arson probe

Police have stepped up their investigation into an early morning arson attack at a car wash.

A vehicle parked on the forecourt outside the business in Island Road, Hersden, was set on fire at about 1.30am on Saturday, April 18.

Police want to speak to this person

A second car was set alight three hours later.

The blazes were put out by fire crews, but both vehicles were damaged beyond repair.

Officers have released CCTV footage of a person they believe may be able to help their investigation into the incidents near Canterbury.

They are urging anyone with information to call them on 01843 222289, quoting the reference number 46/66427/20, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
