National South side Dartford reduce admission prices for all ages and offer free admission to under-18s for the remaining four home league games, starting on Saturday against Hemel Hempstead

Relegation-threatened Dartford have slashed admission prices for the remainder of the season to help give the team a boost ahead of a crucial run-in.

Club bosses want Princes Park to be noisy as the Darts look to pull clear of relegation trouble.

Ady Pennock’s side host Hemel Hempstead this Saturday - the first of four home fixtures remaining this season.

The club have lifted the requirement for youth supporters - those aged between 13-17 - to be accompanied by an adult or being a member of their membership scheme.

They said: “We look forward to welcoming all the youth in the locality to Princes Park free of charge to make some noise and show their support during our last four home fixtures alongside new amended admission prices for all age groups.

“We want as many people as possible to come and get behind the players in the last few home games to try and get the wins we require.”

Dartford are currently fourth from bottom in National South, occupying the last of the relegation places, having played several games more than the teams sitting just above them.

Discounted tickets will be available from this weekend with adults paying £10, concessions £5 and under-18s free.

Saturday is designated “non-league day” and the club are also offering anyone with a Premier League or EFL season ticket £5 entry to Princes Park for the Hemel game.

The prices will remain at the lower amount for the visit of Eastbourne Borough on Easter Monday (April 1) and the midweek game against Worthing on Tuesday, April 9.

Dartford play Truro City at home on the final day of the season, Saturday April 20, a team who are currently two places and three points above them in the table.

Pennock - who stood with the fans prior to his appointment - took over the team as a permanent replacement for axed boss Alan Dowson but three straight defeats have left them in big trouble.

Dartford have played in the top two tiers of non-league football since winning the Isthmian Premier Division title in 2010.
