Part of the A2 near Dover was closed in both directions this morning after a lorry overturned and ended up in a ditch.

Recovery work took more than five hours following the collision between the A260 near Aylesham and the A256 near the Whitfield roundabout.

The crash is believed to have happened just before midnight, and the road reopened just before 6am.

There were warnings of delays in the area, but traffic has now cleared.
