Man's body discovered at a house in Edred Road, Dover

A man's body has been found at a house in Dover.

Police made the discovery at 2.20pm yesterday after someone reported concern for his welfare.

A police spokesman said: "His death is not being treated as suspicious."

The force would not comment further on the identity of the man because, the spokesman said, it is not a "police matter."

The coroner's office confirmed that a postmortem will be carried out later this week.
