Ferry users were warned after the main motorway into Calais was blocked by protesters.
DFDS tweeted: "The motorway into Calais is currently blocked due to industrial action.
"No freight traffic is entering the port."
They tweeted again at 6.50pm to say all tourist traffic was free flowing into the port.
