A car ended up on its roof after a crash in Dover.

The vehicle rolled over in Folkestone Road this morning, but the woman inside escaped serious injury.

It happened just before 8.25am, close to the junction with Malvern Road.

A police spokesman said this morning: "Officers are currently at the scene alongside the ambulance service. No serious injuries have been reported.

“A road closure is in place on Folkestone Road while the vehicle is recovered.”

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: “At 8.25am we sent a response car to a single vehicle accident in Folkestone Road, Dover, where the car reportedly rolled over.

“The woman in the car, age unknown, was assessed and treated on scene and not conveyed to hospital.”
