CCTV image released after attempted burglary in Dover

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to following an attempted burglary in Dover.

Yesterday, between 3am and 6am, a resident in Old Charlton Road reported hearing noises coming from the outside of her property.

She told police and then saw a man attempting to break in and challenged the suspect.

At first he claimed to be police, but then ran away from the house.

Officers have conducted a number of inquiries and are now appealing for help to identify the man in the image who may be able to assist with the investigation.
