Man arrested on suspiscion of drink driving after car crashes into house

A man who was arrested on suspicion of drink driving on Sunday morning after a car crashed into a house has now been bailed.

Police were called at 5.22am to a collision in Coombe Valley Road in Dover.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "A house was damaged in the collision.

"A 39 year-old man from Dover was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and is currently in custody."

No one was injured but there was significant damage to the wall of a property.

The 39-year-old has now been bailed until August 1 while enquiries continue.
