Driving licence appeal in Dover to help Ramsgate girl pass test

A 22-year-old from Ramsgate is desperate to find her missing purse, before her driving test tomorrow.

Katherine Benn is due to take her test but needs to find her provisional driving licence which was inside the purse.

She lost it outside the Old Endeavour pub in London Road, Dover, on Saturday night at 7.30pm, when attending an engagement party.

She said: "I was in the taxi, and paid and then thinking I put my purse in my bag I got out onto the pavement. My friend got out same side as me. We went inside pub.

"About half hour later I went to pay for a drink and couldn't find my purse. Not handed in the pub, or on street. Rung all taxis and the driver of my taxi looked in his taxi, nothing. Must have dropped out my bag when I got out of the taxi."

She described her purse as colourful and made of a patterned fabric and inside is a clear section with her bus pass.

The purse had a small amount of money in it but Miss Benn said she just wants to get her licence back so she can sit her driving test.
