POLICE are concerned for the safety of a 12-year-old girl who went missing from a care home.

Daisy Taylor was last seen in Sittingbourne at 7.15pm on Wednesday. She had travelled there from the home in Whitfield, near Dover.

She has connections in Putney, south London, and police want to hear from anyone who has seen her.

Daisy is described as 5ft 6in tall with an olive complexion and long dark brown hair that she wears tied back.

She was last seen wearing a light grey t-shirt, dark Nike tracksuit bottoms, blue Nike trainers and a pink jumper. The 12-year-old was also wearing two large hooped earrings as bangles.

Kent Police said they were concerned for her welfare and safety and urged Daisy to contact them.
