Barratt Kent launched this development last Saturday and is initially offering 30 three-bedroomed houses.

The first show home will be unveiled later in the spring and the first residents are expected to move in this summer.

Once complete the estate will include a new primary school, convenience store, and doctor’s surgery.

Natalie Perry, sales and marketing director at Barratt Kent, said: “Following high demand from local buyers, we are pleased to offer a virtual preview of our development, which will help meet local demand for new housing.

" Our initial release of three-bedroom homes will be ideal for a range of buyers, from those starting out to downsizers and young families."

All new homes have been designed with the environment in mind so include features such as energy efficient boilers and high levels of insulation.

Ms Perry added: : “We have received a high volume of enquiries from homebuyers and have scheduled a number of virtual appointments already, alongside a number of reservations.

"We anticipate continued high levels of interest here thanks to its sought after location, community offering and access to both the countryside and coast."

An NHS Deposit Contribution Scheme is also available for NHS employees, offering an additional 5% deposit boost up to £15,000.

Prices for the new homes start from £289,995.
