Dover Man assaulted on way home from pub

A Dover man is recovering after a vicious assault left him with multiple injuries.

The 42-year-old was on his way home from a pub when he stopped for food at the Pizza Plus takeaway in London Road.

Just after midnight on Sunday, June 7, he was attacked outside the shop by two men, who kicked and punched him repeatedly before stealing £200 cash.

The man suffered a dislocated shoulder, a broken right arm and bruising to his back and chest.

He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.

Kent Police is appealing for information about the assault.

The two suspects are white, and aged betwwwn 20 and 30.

Both are medium build with dark brown hair. One had short hair and the other’s was shoulder-length.
