Man attacked and robbed of electric scooter on Priory Station Approach Road, Dover

A man was attacked and robbed after trying to sell his e scooter.

The victim met a man in Priory Station Approach Road, Dover, between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Friday, June 4.

Intending to discuss the sale of the e scooter, the man then assaulted the victim and left with the item.

The victim, who is in his 40s, said he chased the man along Folkestone Road, Ethelbert Road, Tower Street and through to South Street but was unable to retrieve his property.

The suspect is white, over six feet tall, unshaven and of large build.

He was wearing square-rimmed glasses, a bright blue watch, black tracksuit bottoms, blue trainers and a white T-shirt.

The e scooter is black with a headlight, flashing LED lights and four suspension springs.

A police spokesman said: "Officers investigating the robbery are appealing for witnesses, anyone who recognises the description of the suspect, or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage which may assist, to get in contact as soon as possible."
