Remainer activist Steve Bray takes on Dover MP Charlie Elphicke in Twitter dispute

A Kent MP has taken on a notorious anti-Bexit campaigner in a Twitter spat.

Today at Westminster, protester Steve Bray confronted Dover and Deal MP Charlie Elphicke.

Mr Bray is best known for wearing a blue top hat, sporting a remain poster and sidestepping into the frame of mainstream news channel's Brexit coverage.

Taking to Twitter, Mr Bray claimed the Dover and Deal representative told him, Britain "should take back control and leave with no deal."

To which Mr Bray replied: "But that's not the will of the people."

Four hours after the original tweet Mr Elphicke responded with: "I think you should post the whole video to provide the full picture.

"Will you do so?"

Mr Bray has already taken on Ashford MP in a catty verbal dispute.
