Opening and fun day for Stembrook Lane Shopping Arcade, at Co-Innovation, Dover

A new section of the Co-Innovation small businesses centre opens this weekend.

And the building's Stembrook Lane Shopping Arcade will start with a bang with a family fun day.

This is from 10am until 4pm. next Saturday.

The new Dover arcade will have bespoke shops and a market selling items such as bespoke decor, handmade gifts, artwork, clothes and gift hampers.

The fun day will include the KM Group's kmfm Street Team offering activities such as face painting and a treasure hunt.

The Co-Innovation building, for small and start-up businesses and community groups, had its first tenants last December and was formally opened on March 14 this year.

It was a Lottery-funded project and a collaboration between Dover Big Local and Dover District Council.

The opening ceremony was by Elizabeth McKenna, a contestant in The Apprentice BBC TV reality show.

Co-Innovation replaces the Co-operative foodstore, which closed in February 2017.
