Patient airlifted to hospital after incident near Connaught Park in Dover

A motorcyclist was airlifted to a London hospital after a collision involving a car in Dover .

Police and paramedics responded to the incident in Maison Dieu Road on Wednesday afternoon.

A spokesman said: "Kent Police was called 2.33pm on Wednesday, September 16 to Maison Dieu Road, Dover following reports of a collision involving a car and a motorbike.

"The motorcyclist for airlifted to a London hospital. The road was clear by 4.35pm."

A spokesman for Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance said: "I can confirm that we were in attendance in Dover on September 16.

"Our crew arrived on scene at 3.17pm.

"They treated the patient who was then taken to hospital by aircraft."
