Police launch investigation after man attacked on train between Ramsgate and Dover

A passenger was left with a fractured shoulder and needed stitches in his face after being attacked on a train.

The incident happened on board a service between Ramsgate and Dover at around 11pm on Friday, December 29.

The victim was punched by a man who also stamped on his upper body and head rendering him motionless on the floor.

He was taken to hospital where he received treatment for a fractured shoulder and also needed stitches to his face.

Officers have released an image of a man they believe may have information that could help their investigation.
