Robbery victim punched in face as he answered door in Auden Way, Dover

A man was punched in the face by a "chubby" robber as he answered his door.

The victim, aged in his 40s, was hit as he opened his front door in Auden Way, Dover.

The attacker then burst into the home and stole a number of belongings from inside.

The suspect is described as "chubby", and about 6ft 2in. He had strong body odour and spoke with a Scottish accent.

He is reported to have been accompanied by a second man described as being very skinny and wearing a blue zip-up fleece.

The robbery happened at about 7.30am on Saturday, May 28, but police have only just released details as they issue an e-fit of the suspect.
