Investigations are continuing into the stabbing of a man in Dover.

The 24-year-old victim has undergone surgery after the attack and is in a stable condition in hospital.

He was assaulted at 2.25am last Thursday in London Road.

Police would like to speak to a man who was seen in Tower Hamlets Road junction area of the town.

He is white, in his mid to late twenties, of stocky build with a Scottish accent.

He has short dark hair and was wearing dark coloured shorts.

His clothing is likely to have been blood-stained.
