Magistrates remand Terry Tunbridge, 20, of MacDonald Road, Dover, in custody after stabbing of 18-year-old woman

A man has been remanded in custody until the end of the month following the stabbing of an 18-year-old woman.

Terry Tunbridge, 20, of MacDonald Road, Dover, was arrested and charged with wounding with intent.

He appeared before Medway magistrates and was remanded until Thursday, June 29.

The woman suffered a chest injury in MacDonald Road on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 30.

She was taken to King’s College Hospital in London by the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.

Her condition there was later described as stable.
