TWO women are being questioned by police at Dover today after allegedly driving at shop staff who were trying to stop them.

It happened in the Stembrook car park outside the town's Kwik Save store where the women were alleged to have stolen a stereo system.

Staff followed them to their car, and managed to retrieve the stereo system. They tried to use a shopping trolley to block the car in, but the women reversed the car at the staff, forcing them out of the way. The women then drove off at speed.

Later two suspects were stopped by police who had been alerted via the town's Shopwatch radio network and CCTV control room.
