Dover Big Local meeting at Charlton centre for community project ideas

Which project should a community group support in its fifth year?

Dover Big Local wants members of the public to give their ideas for its next set of plans.

They can offer them at an open event at the Charlton Shopping Centre, Dover High Street, from 7pm to 9pm on Wednesday

The group, approaching its fifth year, started with £1 million in L ttery money, with has been used for a number of project so far.

These have included a job club, keeping the River Dour clean, the Big Urban Fete and the Co-Innovation Centre for small businesses, which this year replaced the Co-operative store in Stembrook.

The £1 million is being invested over 10 years.

Those attending the open event can enjoy food and music while sharing ideas and learning about future plans.
