A woman was airlifted to hospital after a collision involving a car.

It happened at Folkestone Road, Dover, at 6.05pm yesterday.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police were called following a report of a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

"Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and an air ambulance and a woman was flown to hospital for treatment."
