Woman of 18 punched and threatened by man with Stanley knife, Coombe Valley Road, Dover

A woman was punched and threatened with a knife.

The attacker is also reported to have pulled her along by the hair before bystanders intervened and took the victim into a house for her safety.

The 18-year-old suffered her ordeal during a disturbance in the early hours of the morning at Coombe Valley Road, Dover.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "During the disturbance, an 18-year old woman was approached and threatened by a man who was reportedly in possession of a Stanley knife.

"Both parties are believed to be known to each other."

The incident was between 3am and 3.20am on Sunday.

Police want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time who hasn't already spoken to them.

They would also like to hear from anyone who was driving along Coombe Valley Road between 3am and 4am and might have dashcam footage of the incident.
