Dover's Bobby-Joe Taylor agrees new deal at Crabble

Bobby-Joe Taylor has committed his immediate future to Dover Athletic by agreeing a new deal at the club.

The 24-year-old was one of five players to be offered an extension on the back of Whites sealing National League safety this season.

He has now penned a fresh two-year contract at the club following his arrival in October, as confirmed by Dover's official club website.

Taylor signed from Bromley on a one month loan deal back in October, before making his move permanent towards the end of November.

He has since been a prominent figure in Andy Hessenthaler's side amid Dover's fight to avoid relegation, with his delivery proving a key component to the team's attacking threat.

Dover are meanwhile waiting on responses to contract offers from captain Mitch Brundle, Anthony Jeffrey, Bedsente Gomis and Joe Bedford.

The club also recently released 11 players while announcing that they had retained the services of nine others.

Taylor now joins Players' Player of the Season Kevin Lokko, 2018/2019 top scorer Inih Effiong and goalkeeper Lee Worgan as one of those staying put this summer.

Jai Reason, Alfie Pavey, Ricky Modeste, Scott Doe, Josh Passley and Jamie Allen make up the remainder of those confirmed to be involved in 2019/2020.
