A smash between a car and a motorcyclist has prompted delays.

The accident is understood to have happened shortly before 11am this morning between West Street and Napleton Road, Faversham,

Drivers have been advised to approach with caution while traffic remains slow moving in the area.

Kent County Council Highways posted on social media site X, formerly Twitter this morning: “Reports of a road traffic crash involving a car and bike between West Street and Napleton Road.

The police and ambulance service have been contacted for comment.
