DETECTIVES are investigating a serious sexual assault on a woman in a Kent public house.

The incident happened late at night at the Pullman pub in Church Street, Folkestone, on Boxing Day (Monday December 26).

Police are asking for customers who were in the premises at around 11 pm on that day to contact Det Constable Ian Cutter at Folkestone Police Station on 01303 289030.

Police say the woman is her 30s and from the Cheriton area of Folkestone.
