Ebbsfleet cruised into the first round of the FA Cup with a comfortable 3-0 win over league rivals Boreham Wood at Stonebridge Road.

Manager Liam Daish started with the same 11 that beat Boreham in the league last weekend and saw his side dominate the early stages.

Paul Lorraine (pictured) opened the scoring in the 27th minute. His low strike into the bottom right-hand corner was initially disallowed, only to be reinstated by referee Tim Hart after discussion with his assistant.

The game swung further in The Fleet's favour minutes later when Leon McKenzie was dismissed for a mindless challenge on Craig Stone. He appeared to stamp on the midfielder, having escaped punishment earlier in the game for apparently kicking out at Lorraine.

The home side doubled their lead when Willock's through ball found Shakes, who placed his low shot beyond Woods' keeper Ashlee Jones.

Ebbsfleet put the result beyond doubt 28 minutes from time when Willock found the ball inside the Boreham Wood box. His shot flew past Jones and into the far corner.

The Fleet find out who will they face in the first round of the FA Cup tomorrow lunchtime.
